Yup it work like it supposed to. Cheaper than the name brand! Only the "S" and "2S" buttons work with dslr though. The other buttons are for Canon point and shoot cameras. Using Canon 7D with this. -- It works like it supposed to

The Remote Control Opteka for Canon is a very good accessorie to shoot without touch the cammera. It word in front or behind the cammera ( with a little mirror) or on a side. -- Opteka es bueno

Solid remote for the price. It has a range of about 10 feet and you need to be on the left side of the camera as you look at it for optimal results. That said for the price it gets your hands off the camera to reduce wobble when shooting off a tripod. Cant beat it for little money. -- Solid remote
